Ingredients

  • 0.5 liter ½ milk
  • 2 tablespoon rock sugar, brown
  • 1 tablespoon tea, black, fine-leaved, e.g. Assam or East Frisian mixture
  • 3 carnation (s)
  • 4 black peppercorns
  • 1 piece (s) ginger, fresh (approx. 3 cm)
  • 0.5 ½ cinnamon stick (s)

Instructions

  1. Peel and roughly chop the fresh ginger.
  2. Bring the milk with the rock sugar and the spices to the boil, add the tea and cook for 1 minute while stirring. Then pass through a sieve and serve immediately.
  3. Tip: refine with whipped cream or a dash of rum.
