Ingredients

  • 400 g turkey meat (more or less meat to taste)
  • 1 can pineapple in pieces
  • 1 apple, sweet
  • 250 ml broth
  • 1 tablespoon curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 can coconut milk
  • 1 small onion (s)
  • 1 cup rice, large, long grain rice
  • possibly flour

Instructions

  1. Cut the onion and fry until translucent. Add the chopped turkey and fry until it has turned color, then deglaze with the coconut milk. If you love it sweet, add the pineapple pieces, along with the pineapple juice, otherwise add the broth as a liquid.
  2. Season with curry, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper. Let the whole thing boil open for about 10 minutes. Peel the apple, cut into small pieces and only add at the end so that it retains its bite. To taste. If the sauce is too runny, thicken with a little flour and bring to the boil again. If there is not enough sauce, add a little soup for longer.
  3. There is also rice.
