Instructions

  1. Break the chocolate into small pieces, place all ingredients in a microwave- and freezer-safe bowl. Heat at 350 W 3 x 1 - 1 1/2 minutes each time. Always stir carefully in between. Finally stir again well and place in the freezer.
  2. After approx. 2 hours the mass has hardened somewhat (it will not freeze due to the high fat content). I rolled individual portions in cling film, you can of course just leave the mixture in the bowl and spoon it out there if necessary.
  3. The mass should keep for a good two months in the freezer. In the refrigerator for a few days.
  4. Preparation of the hot chocolate: Put one portion (about the size of a golf ball) in a cup, add about 200 ml of milk and heat it up as you like (for me, 1 1/2 minutes at 750 W in the microwave). Mix well.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
