Instructions

  1. Hollow out the watermelon. Make a fruit salad or smoothie out of the pulp, for example.
  2. Mix the jelly, gelatine and sugar and stir in a saucepan with the water. Let it soak for 10 minutes. Heat the mixture while stirring until everything has dissolved. Not cook.
  3. Place the melon peel on a small bowl so that it stands firmly and straight. Carefully pour in the liquid. Then put the melon and bowl in the refrigerator and let it set overnight.
  4. Use a long wooden skewer to poke holes of different depths into the jelly and press the chocolate chips into them. Cut the melon into wedges with a long, sharp knife and serve.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
