Ingredients

  • 0.25 liter ¼ milk, low in fat
  • 30 g semolina (soft wheat)
  • 20 g suar
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • some vanilla
  • 1 egg (s), separated
  • sugar, brown, honey, fruit

Instructions

  1. First bring the milk to the boil with sugar, salt and vanilla. Turn off the stove and stir in the semolina. Now it has to swell for about 4 minutes, stirring it from time to time, preferably with a flat whisk.
  2. You can now whip the egg whites stiff with a pinch of salt.
  3. When the semolina is ready, first stir in the egg yolk and then carefully fold in the egg whites.
  4. Now you can enjoy the semolina with a little brown sugar, honey or fruit warm.
  5. If you prefer to eat it cold, I would only fold in the egg whites shortly before consumption so that no air is lost.
