Ingredients

  • 250 g flour
  • 0.25 tablespoon ¼ salt
  • 0.5 tablespoon ½ honey
  • 30 g butter, melted
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 0.25 ¼ cube yeast
  • Egg yolks for brushing
  • possibly grains, seeds as a garnish
  • 100 ml water, up to 150 as required

Instructions

  1. Put honey in a bowl and stir with the yeast until everything is liquid. Then mix in the salt, melted butter and the egg. Then slowly add the flour and water, stirring constantly. Let the finished dough rise for 1 hour. Now it should have increased many times over.
  2. The best way to make croissants is to cut out triangles from the rolled out dough and roll them up from the broad side. If desired, let it go again, but it doesn`t have to be. Then brush with egg yolk and sprinkle with seeds if necessary. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 ° C for about 30 minutes.
  3. Let cool down and enjoy.
