Ingredients

  • 200 g flour
  • 100 g cornstarch
  • 200 g butter
  • 100 g suar
  • 2 packs vanilla sugar, bourbon
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 1 medium egg (s)
  • some lemon peel, grated
  • 50 g almond (s), round
  • 50 g pistachios, round
  • 30 g pistachios, chopped
  • Icing sugar mixed with a little vanilla icing sugar

Instructions

  1. Place the flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, lemon peel, almonds and pistachios on the baking sheet, make a well and add the egg. Put the butter in flakes on top. Knead everything quickly into a dough and refrigerate for 60 minutes.
  2. Shape the dough into a roll, cut into 1 cm long pieces and shape them into croissants. Sprinkle with chopped pistachios and carefully press them down. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 175 ° C for about 10 - 12 minutes. Let cool down a little and dust with sifted powdered sugar / vanilla powdered sugar.
  3. A recipe gives me 110 pieces. However, I bake very small croissants.
