  • 500 g kohlrabi
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 1 tablespoon low-fat quark
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • 4 teaspoons oil for frying, possibly more

Instructions

  1. Peel and grate the kohlrabi. Then place in a clean tea towel and squeeze out.
  2. Put the grated kohlrabi with egg, quark and flour in a bowl and mix together. Season the mixture with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
  3. Heat the oil in a coated pan. Pour the mixture into the pan in small portions, press down and fry on both sides until the hash browns are golden brown.
