Ingredients

  • 4 Lamb chop (s), doubled
  • 3 onion (s), cut into thin wedges
  • 1 piece (s) garlic, if possible Chinese, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon peanut oil, alternatively other good oil
  • 50 g bacon, fat, smoked, finely diced
  • 500 g beans, reen, fresh
  • 6 potato (s), peeled and cut into cubes
  • 600 ml meat broth or bone broth
  • 3 sprigs savory
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a thick-bottomed saucepan and drain the bacon in it. Sear the lamb chops on both sides and fry the onions on a low heat until translucent.
  2. Add the washed and tipped beans and the garlic, continue to fry briefly. Add the potatoes and pour the meat stock on top. Don`t forget to add the savory.
  3. When everything is boiling, season with pepper and salt and simmer gently for about an hour.
