Ingredients

For the dressing:

4 tablespoon maple syrup
4 tablespoon balsamic vinegar, red
4 tablespoon orange juice, (freshly squeezed)
4 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon sambal oelek
salt and pepper

Lamb`s Lettuce with Goat Cheese – Something Completely Different

Instructions

Sort the lamb`s lettuce, clean, wash and shake dry.
Rinse the figs, pat dry, remove the stem and cut into quarters. Roughly chop the walnuts.
Mix the maple syrup, vinegar, orange juice, sambal oil and oil into a dressing - season with salt and pepper.
Melt the goat cheese with butter in a pan.
Heat the nuts with sugar in a pan and let them caramelize.
Cut the bacon into strips and fry them in a non-stick pan until crispy.
Spread the lettuce, bacon and cheese on the plates, drizzle with the dressing. Sprinkle the nuts on top and serve warm.
It goes well with baguette and a light red wine.
