Ingredients
- 1 liter water
- 11 ice cubes, possibly one more or less
- 120 g suar, as you like
- 4 bags tea (black tea)
- 1 lemon (s)

- Bring ½ l of water to the boil in a kettle or on the stove. Add the 4 tea bags and let the tea steep, depending on the time indicated for the tea. In the meantime, cut 4 slices from the lemon, prepare the sugar and the rest of the water and remove the ice cubes from the foil or form and place in a bowl.
- After the waiting time, remove the tea bags from the saucepan and add the second ½ L water, the sugar, the 4 lemon wedges and a few squirts of the juice from the other half of the lemon and stir the mixture briefly. Then immediately add the ice cubes and place in the refrigerator for about 3 - 4 hours. Important: Without the ice cubes, the iced tea will be bitter and will not taste good!
- After the waiting time, remove the lemon slices from the saucepan and pour the drink through a sieve into a carafe.
- Tip: After you`ve chilled the drink for a few minutes, you can add 2 - 3 ice cubes to speed up the cooling process a little. Serve the drink cool with a lemon wedge and ice cubes.
