  • 500 ml lemon juice
  • 4 g iner, rated
  • 1 star anise
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 500 g preservin suar (1: 1)

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients, bring to the boil according to the instructions on the preserving sugar pack. Remove the star anise and fill the whole thing into screw-top jars. Goes wonderfully with sponge cakes or Baumkuchen. I used it as a filling for petit fours and covered it with dark chocolate.
