Ingredients
Sugar β 2/3 Cup
Flour β 2 Glasses
Lemon β 1 Piece
Baking powder β 2 Teaspoons
Salt β 1/2 Teaspoon
Soda β 1/4 Teaspoon
Egg β 2 Pieces
Fatty cottage cheese β 1 Glass
Poppy β 4 Art. spoons
Butter β 110 Grams
Directions
We rub the zest of one lemon on the finest grater.
In a bowl, lightly grind the sugar and zest.
Sift flour, baking powder, soda, salt and poppy into the same bowl. We mix.
Beat 3/4 cup cottage cheese in a separate container, about 2 tablespoon. lemon juice and eggs.
Add melted butter there, beat gently until smooth.
Mix dry and liquid mixture carefully. Donβt knead too long β just mix evenly.
Grease the muffin molds with butter and fill 3/4 with the resulting dough. Put small balls of the remaining cottage cheese on top of the dough.
We bake for 20-25 minutes at 200 degrees.
Cool the finished muffins first in tins, then on the wire rack.
