Ingredients
- 6 sticks lemongrass
- 1 liter water
- 2 tablespoon sugar
- Ice cubes, (crushed ice) for serving

- Halve the lemongrass lengthways and pound it flat with the back of a knife. Bring to the boil with water and sugar. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Let cool down and pour through a sieve, then put in a cool place. Serve with ice.
- Makes 1 liter.
