Light Leek Spread

Instructions

  1. Beat the cremefine until stiff and set it aside for now.
  2. Cut the leek into fine rings and finely chop the garlic. Mix the quark with the sour cream, add the leek and garlic and fold in the stiffly whipped Cremefine. Then season with salt until it tastes slightly too salty.
  3. Hang a fine sieve in a saucepan, pour the mixture into it, refrigerate for 1 to 2 days and let it drain. The mass loses fluid and becomes very aromatic.
  4. For WW`ler: I weighed it again and since then I have been counting myself 0.5 pts per slice or half of a roll.
  5. Also very tasty as a dip.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
