Ingredients

  • 5 lemon (s), untreated
  • 300 ml water
  • 4 teaspoons vanilla sugar
  • 100 g suar
  • 500 ml double grain

Instructions

  1. Peel the lemons with a peeler, peeling off as little of the whites as possible.
  2. Bring the bowls with the water, sugar and vanilla sugar to the boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Squeeze the lemons. Remove the saucepan from the heat, mix in the lemon juice and strain through a sieve. Add the schnapps.
  3. Put a couple of lemon peel in a nice bottle and pour the limoncello on top.
