Ingredients

  • 1 kg apples (Boskoop or Cox Orange)
  • 100 g semolina
  • 200 g flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 3 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 bag vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch cinnamon
  • 200 g cream
  • 125 g butter
  • 2 tablespoon sugar

Instructions

  1. Peel the apples, remove the core and cut into small pieces.
  2. Mix the ingredients from semolina up to and including cinnamon well.
  3. Layer the apples alternately with the flour and semolina mixture in a springform pan. The first and last layer is a flour and semolina mixture.
  4. Heat the cream, butter and sugar until the butter has melted. Let cool a little and pour into the mold.
  5. Baking time approx. 60 minutes at 180 ° C top / bottom heat.
