Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise, light
  • 4 tablespoon natural yogurt 1.5%
  • 2 tablespoon pickles, (finely chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon capers, (finely chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon peppercorns, pickled greens or more
  • 1 teaspoon, heaped dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon herbs, frozen or fresh
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 dash cucumber liquid

Instructions

  1. Put the light mayonnaise and yoghurt in a large bowl, also the mustard.
  2. Add the pickled cucumbers, green pickled peppercorns, capers and herbs (e.g. parsley, dill or basil) as required, finely chopped.
  3. Mix with a whisk to a smooth tartar sauce. Possibly season again with salt and pepper.
  4. Some of the cucumber water makes the sauce even rounder. Now fill into a glass, will keep in the refrigerator for about 14 days.
