Ingredients

  • 1 large carrot
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 0.25 teaspoon ¼ ginger, peeled, grated
  • some chilli pepper (s) without seeds, amount depending on heat and taste
  • 1 tablespoon tahini
  • 0.5 tablespoon ½ lime juice
  • some extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon, heaped parsley leaves, smooth
  • 1 teaspoon, heaped coriander leaves
  • salt and pepper
  • cumin
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds, toasted
  • 1 teaspoon pine nuts, toasted

Instructions

  1. Peel the carrot and cut into thin strips with the spiral cutter. Peel the garlic, dice finely, dice the chilli very finely.
  2. Sauté the vegetables in a little olive oil, add the tahini, lime juice and water, leave to steep for a moment. Mix in roughly torn herbs, season the salad with salt, pepper, cumin and possibly additional lime juice. Serve immediately, sprinkled with sesame seeds and pine nuts.
