Lula Kebab with Lamb and Chicken Fillet (Grilled)

For a long time, friends have asked to cook lula kebab. Of the many recipes, my favorite is lamb kebab with chicken fillet.

Cook: 1 hour 20 mins

Servings: 10

Ingredients

  • Young lamb (ham) – 1.5 kg
  • Chicken fillet – 1 kg
  • Onions – 300 g
  • Fresh parsley – 10 g
  • Fresh cilantro – 10 g
  • Hops-suneli – 5 g
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

Directions

  1. We prepare all products.
  2. Separate the meat from the bone. Cut the lamb and chicken fillet into slices for twisting in a meat grinder.
  3. Peel the onion and chop coarsely.
  4. Finely chop the parsley.
  5. Chop the cilantro finely.
  6. Grind mutton, chicken fillet and onion in a meat grinder.
  7. Add chopped greens (cilantro, parsley) and suneli hops to the minced meat with onions. Salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Mix everything thoroughly. So that the minced meat does not fall apart during cooking, we beat it well. The minced meat should be firm and viscous.
  9. Prepare a bowl of water and a skewer to form a kebab.
  10. We form a kebab on a skewer. To do this, we moisten our hands with water, take a little minced meat and form a sausage around the skewer, 4-5 cm in diameter. The minced meat should fit snugly to the skewer. Be sure to pinch the minced meat tightly along the edges of the kebab.
  11. To prevent the kebab from falling off the skewer during cooking on the grill (this often happens, especially with beginners), I put the kebab on skewers on the wire rack, which I advise you.
  12. Pour coal on the grill, light the fire. When the coals are burned out, pour water over the flame so that there is no open fire.
  13. We put the grill with skewers on the grill.
  14. Turn the skewers over every 5 minutes and grill the kebab on the grill until cooked for about 20-25 minutes.
  15. Serve kebab with vegetables.
