Ingredients

  • 1 dough (cake dough), rolled out into a round shape
  • 4 apples, (prefer sweet varieties)
  • 40 g almond (s), round or hazelnuts
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 2 ½ dl cream
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees
  2. Place the dough in a round baking tray (approx. 3 cm high), prick several times with a fork and sprinkle with hazelnuts or almonds.
  3. Cut the peeled apples into small pieces (eighth) and lay them out on the baking sheet like bricks.
  4. Topping: whisk the eggs with the remaining ingredients and spread over the apples.
  5. Bake in the middle of the oven for 25-30 minutes. Sprinkle with a little sugar.
  6. Tip: Serve with whipped cream
  7. Variation: The apples can be replaced with raspberries, blackberries, plums or apricots.
