Instructions

  1. preparation
  2. A quiche form with a diameter of 25 cm. grease and cover with the puff pastry.
  3. Cut the apples in half, then into thin slices and put them back together as halves and place them tightly on the base.
  4. Bake at 200 ° C for about 10 minutes.
  5. Mix the remaining ingredients and pour over the tart when the batter is golden yellow. Continue to bake until the egg mixture has set (approx. 20 min.)
  6. Pour calvados over the table and flambé. Eat hot (but also tastes good without flambéing)
  7. Tip: I made the last quiche with a 3/4 cup of creme fraiche instead of 4 tablespoons of cream, which was even better.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
