Ingredients
- 500 g herrin fillet (s) in oil
- 5 medium tomato (s)
- 2 medium onion (s)
- 8 pickled cucumber (s)
- 14 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 3 tablespoon, heaped dill
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 pinch (s) pepper

- Cut herring fillets, tomatoes and cucumber into small pieces. Then dice the onion and mix everything together well.
- Add a good dash of balsamic vinegar and oil to the salad. Season to taste with a little pepper, salt and dill.
- Cover and let the salad stand in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
- I called the salad à la Papa because my late papa always made it that way. My brother and I always liked the salad so much that my dad always had to make several servings of it so that we could take something home with us.
