Ingredients

  • 12 dumplings
  • 0.5 ½ onion (s)
  • 0.5 ½ cup cream
  • some Milk
  • 1 handful cheese, grated
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tomato (s), cut into small pieces
  • olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cut the 12 Maultaschen and 1/2 onion into strips.
  2. Heat roughly 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large pan on medium-high heat.
  3. Add the Maultaschen and onion strips, cooking for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until lightly browned.
  4. Pour in the 1/2 cup cream and roughly 1/4 cup milk, stirring to combine.
  5. Add the tomato pieces.
  6. Bring to a boil on medium-high heat, then reduce heat to medium and simmer for 3 minutes.
  7. Stir in the handful of grated cheese and remove from heat, letting it melt for 1 minute.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
