Meatballs in Cream Cheese Sauce

Truly delicious meatballs soaked in creamy cheese sauce.
Ingredients
- Minced meat (I have pork) – 500 g
- Instant oatmeal – 0.5 cups 200 ml (45 g)
- Bulb onions – 1 pc.
- Egg – 1 pc.
- Water – 100 ml
- Salt to taste
- Ground black pepper – to taste
* - For the sauce:
- Cream 10% – 200 ml
- Hard cheese – 100 g
- Milk – 100 ml
* - Vegetable oil – for lubricating the mold
- Fresh herbs (I have dill) – for sprinkling the finished dish
Directions
- Add water and egg to oatmeal, mix. Leave on for 30 minutes to swell the oatmeal.
Add finely chopped onion, a mixture of oatmeal, salt, pepper to the minced meat, mix well and beat off. Put in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Roll the minced meat into walnut-sized meatballs, place in a greased baking dish and send to the oven, preheated to 190 ° C, for 15 minutes. - In the meantime, prepare the sauce: pour the cream and milk into a deep plate, add the cheese grated on a fine grater, mix.
After 15 minutes of baking, remove the meatballs from the oven, pour over the sauce and send to bake for another 20 minutes.
- Sprinkle the finished dish with finely chopped herbs.
