Meatballs with Sour Cream Sauce

Ingredients

  • Minced meat – 500 grams
  • Rice – 1 Glass
  • Onion – 1 Piece
  • Egg – 1 Piece
  • Sour cream – 0.5 cups
  • Flour – To taste
  • Vegetable oil – To taste
  • Salt – To taste
  • Ground black pepper – To taste

Directions

  1. We prepare a few ingredients. Boil the rice in salted water until half cooked. Minced meat can be used commercially, or you can cook it yourself, and the best combination is pork + beef.
  2. When the rice has cooled down a little, put it in a bowl with minced meat, add chopped onion, egg, salt and spices, mix thoroughly until smooth.
  3. We moisten our hands in water and begin to form small meatballs. Then roll them in flour and fry them in a pan with a little oil. Fry until golden brown.
  4. Put the fried meatballs in a saucepan or cauldron. Pour water into the pan where the meatballs were and heat it. Then add sour cream, mix, salt and season with spices, mix again. The amount of sauce should be enough to completely cover the meatballs in the pan, so you can add more water if necessary.
  5. Pour the sauce into a saucepan with meatballs and put it on fire. When the liquid boils, reduce the heat and cover, simmer for 10-15 minutes. During this time, you can prepare any side dish of your choice.
