Ingredients

  • 1 roll from the day before
  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 3 tablespoon tomato ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon paprika powder, noble sweet
  • 1 teaspoon herbs, Italian
  • Salt and pepper, black
  • 200 g bacon, cut into strips
  • Fat for the shape

Instructions

  1. Soak the roll, squeeze it out well. Peel and dice the onion. Add the minced meat and the squeezed out roll, season with the other ingredients and mix into a meat dough.
  2. Shape this meat dough into an oval loaf and place in a greased baking dish. Then cover with the bacon strips.
  3. Bake in the oven for approx. 30 - 40 minutes at 180 ° C (top / bottom heat, preheated). Then cover with aluminum foil and leave to stand for approx. 10 minutes at room temperature.
