Ingredients

  • 1 jar black olives without stone
  • 1 jar olives, green without stone
  • 2 onions)
  • 25 g capers
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 packet tomato (s), in their own juice
  • rosemary
  • thyme
  • Pepper, freshly ground
  • 2 cloves garlic)
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Drain the olives well in a colander and cut into slices.
  2. Drain the capers in a colander and cut into small pieces. Peel the onions and cut into cubes.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a saucepan. Sauté the onion cubes and the olive slices well. Then add the tomato pieces with their own juice. Bring to the boil briefly and then stir in the capers, herbs, salt and pepper. Put the garlic through the press and stir in as well.
  4. Then let the sauce simmer over low heat for about 8 to 10 minutes.
