Ingredients

  • 200 g flour
  • 15 g bakin powder
  • 4 tomato (s), dried, pickled in oil
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • some water, lukewarm
  • some olive oil for the pan

Instructions

  1. Heat the pan and in the meantime mix the flour with the baking powder. Then drain the pickled tomatoes briefly and add them to the flour. I throw the ingredients in the blender. Food processor works too, of course, and is easier to clean.
  2. Then gradually add the lukewarm water. Please not too much, the dough must not stick in the machine. The water and the tomatoes make the dough orange.
  3. Now put some olive oil in the coated pan and put the bread in it. Press briefly and bake on each side for a few minutes until the desired brown color is achieved and the bread is baked through.
  4. You can also vary it with garlic, onions etc. I prefer to eat the bread warm with a dollop of herb quark or salted butter.
