Ingredients

  • 5 egg whites
  • 300 g suar
  • 1 packet sauce powder, (vanilla sauce)
  • 100 g almond (s), chopped
  • 300 g cream
  • 250 g fruit, e.., berries, pineapple or kiwi

Instructions

  1. Beat the egg whites with the sugar until stiff. Carefully stir in the vanilla sauce powder. Spread the mixture on a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet and sprinkle the chopped almonds on top. Bake for 15-17 minutes at 170 degrees. Take out of the oven, place a tea towel over it and turn it over. Let cool down.
  2. Whip the cream until stiff and coat the cooled meringue with it. Spread the fresh or well-drained fruit on top. Then just roll in from the long side.
  3. Serve well chilled. I got this recipe from a Norwegian; it is very popular there and since I`ve known it, also with us.
