Mexican Fajitos with Beef Ingredients

  • Beef – 500 Grams
  • Bulgarian pepper – 1 Piece
  • Onion – 1 Piece
  • Tomato – 2 Pieces
  • Chili Pepper – 0.5 Piece
  • Salt – To taste
  • Sugar – 1 Teaspoon
  • Wine vinegar – 1
  • Soy sauce – 1
  • Cumin – 1 Teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil – 3 tbsp
  • Lemon juice – 100 Milliliters
  • Garlic – 3 Cloves
  • Lavash – 2 Pieces

Mexican Fajitos with Beef Instructions

  1. Cut the beef into thin strips.
  2. Place the beef in a bowl, add 3 minced garlic cloves and salt. Pour 100 ml of lemon juice over, stir, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  3. Cut the bell pepper into strips.
  4. Cut the onion into half rings.
  5. Mix the bell pepper and onion strips, add 1 teaspoon of sugar and salt, pour wine vinegar and soy sauce over them, stir, and let sit for 1 hour.
  6. Heat 3 tbsp of vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and fry for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  7. Chop the tomatoes.
  8. Add the chopped tomatoes, 1 teaspoon of cumin, and half a chili pepper to the beef. Simmer over medium heat for 8-10 minutes.
  9. Lay out a piece of lavash, place some of the beef mixture on one side, top with the pickled peppers and onions, and wrap tightly. Repeat with the remaining lavash and filling.
