Mexican flaky salad is made primarily from legumes and vegetables. The layers are seasoned with sour cream and spicy tomato sauce. Add one layer of grilled ground beef if desired. But my version of Mexican salad is vegetarian.
Ingredients
Canned or boiled beans – 200 g
Canned corn – 200 g
Canned green peas – 200 g
Hard cheese – 150 g
Tomatoes – 2 pcs.
Red onion – 1 pc.
Lettuce leaves – 1 bunch
Sour cream – 200 g
Hot or piquant tomato sauce – 100 g
Directions
Cut the lettuce leaves into thin strips.
Finely chop the onion (if you wish to soften the taste of the onion, you need to marinate it in 1 tablespoon of vinegar).
Cut the tomatoes into slices, remove the skin from them and remove the seeds.
Chop the tomato pulp into small cubes.
Put the salad leaves on the bottom of the salad bowl.
