Ingredients

  • 8 pork schnitzel
  • 1 bottle sauce, salsa sauce
  • 2 small onions
  • 100 g bacon, smoked
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • some salt and pepper
  • some garlic powder
  • possibly cheese for gratin

Instructions

  1. Cut the bacon and onions into small pieces and fry them in a pan until translucent.
  2. Then stir in the salsa sauce and sour cream and simmer gently. Season to taste with a little garlic powder and pepper. Possibly a little salt, but actually not necessary.
  3. Then place the schnitzel in a baking dish and season with a little pepper. Pour the sauce over the schnitzel and cover with aluminum foil and let sizzle in the middle of the oven at 175 ° C for about 50-60 minutes.
  4. If you like, you can remove the aluminum foil for the last 10 minutes and sprinkle some cheese over it.
  5. This goes well with mashed potatoes and lamb`s lettuce with paprika dressing or bacon beans.
