  • 50 ml buckwheat
  • 400 ml water
  • 1 small onion (s)
  • 2 teaspoons broth, grainy
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt
  • Oil (vegetable oil), for frying
  • 1 pinch (s) pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine the millet, buckwheat, and water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion, broth, salt, and pepper.
  3. Reduce heat to medium and simmer, stirring every 2-3 minutes, until the water is completely absorbed.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool for about 5 minutes until cool enough to handle.
  5. Shape the cooled mixture into small patties with your hands.
  6. Heat roughly 2-3 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  7. Fry the patties until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
