Ingredients

  • 2 leeks
  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 100 ml vegetable broth or meat broth
  • 3 tablespoon heavy cream
  • 2 cup / s puree (mashed potatoes, homemade or finished product)
  • 100 g cheese, rated Emmentaler
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • Fat for frying

Instructions

  1. Cut the leeks into rings.
  2. Prepare the mashed potatoes and season with a pinch of nutmeg.
  3. Heat fat in a pan over medium-high heat. Fry the minced meat until crumbly, about 3 minutes.
  4. Add the leek rings and fry for 2 minutes. Deglaze with the broth, season with salt and pepper, and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in the heavy cream.
  5. Spread the mashed potato puree in a baking dish, pour the minced meat and leek mixture over it, and sprinkle with grated Emmentaler cheese.
  6. Bake in the oven at 175°C (350°F) for 15 minutes until the cheese is golden and the dish is heated through.
