Mini Liver Cake Ingredients

  • Pork liver – 600 g
  • Eggs – 3 pcs.
  • Milk – 100 ml
  • Onions – 3 pcs.
  • Carrots – 2 pcs.
  • Flour – 100 g
  • Mayonnaise – to taste
  • Salt – to taste
  • Pepper – to taste
  • Nutmeg – to taste
  • Vegetable oil
  • Fresh herbs – for decoration

  1. Grate the carrots into long strips on a special grater. Cut the onion into half rings. Boil 1 egg.
  2. Clean the liver out from the membranes, and then put it on a meat grinder. Then the liver should be additionally ground with a blender to obtain an absolutely homogeneous mass.
  3. Add spices and 2 eggs to the homogeneous liver mass. Mix the mass again with a blender. Combine the liver mixture with milk and flour. Pour about half a ladleful into a frying pan with a little vegetable oil.
  4. Fry a liver pancake on both sides. Allow the pancakes to cool down.

  5. Fry the onion and carrots.
  6. Cut out circles in the pancake with a flute or other shape.

  7. Coat the circle with mayonnaise.
  8. Put a thin layer of the carrots and onions.

  9. Cover the layer with the second circle.
  10. Repeat the process again. You will get 3 liver circles in your mini cake. Sprinkle the top circle with the chopped yolk of a boiled egg. Place the liver mini cakes on a plate and decorate with the fresh herbs.
