Mojito

The Mojito recipe is a refreshing alcoholic cocktail with lemon and rum.

Ingredients

  • Sugar – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Soda water – 150 ml (to taste)
  • Lemon (juice) – 0.5 pcs.
  • Mint – 50 g (to taste)
  • Ice – 8 cubes (to taste)
  • Hawaiian rum – 40-45 g

Directions

  1. Cut the lemon in half and squeeze out the juice with a fork or citrus juicer.
  2. In a glass with a capacity of about 8 ounces (220 ml), dissolve 1/2 teaspoon sugar and 1/2 lemon juice in a little soda (50 ml).
  3. Wash the mint thoroughly and remove dry leaves. Grind half of the total amount of mint in a mortar. Leave one sprig of mint to decorate the cocktail.
  4. Put a few mint leaves and pounded stems in a glass.
  5. Add some ice cubes.
  6. And pour in 1.5 oz (40-45 ml) Hawaiian rum.
  7. Top up with soda.
  8. And garnish with a sprig of mint.
  9. Mojito cocktail with rum is ready.
