Ingredients
- 12 potato (s) (waxy and not too small)
- 3 onion (s)
- 3 egg (s)
- 2 tablespoon oatmeal
- 2 teaspoons salt
- lots oil for frying
- applesauce
- sugar

- Grate the potatoes and onions. Mix in the salt, eggs and oatmeal and stir until smooth. (Never leave the spoon in the batter, otherwise water will form!)
- Put enough oil in the pan (potato pancakes must float in the oil). Then add tablespoon-sized portions to the pan, smooth out a little and bake until golden on both sides.
- Finally, drain the potato pancakes on paper towels and serve with applesauce or sugar to taste.
