Ingredients

  • 500 g beans (cut beans), reen
  • 200 g potato (s)
  • 150 g carrot (s)
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 100 g bacon, lean, diced
  • 0.25 liter ¼ beef broth
  • 2 tablespoon savory

Instructions

  1. Clean the beans and cut into strips. Peel the potatoes and carrots and cut into slices or pieces. Dice the onion.
  2. Heat the fat in a saucepan, add the bacon and fry briefly. Reduce the heat a little, add the onions and sauté briefly. Then add the remaining vegetables and sauté briefly. Then add the broth and bring to a boil. Let everything simmer for approx. 20 minutes, after approx. 15 minutes add the savory. If necessary, season the soup with salt and pepper.
  3. Serve hot.
  4. Tip: If you like, you can add some cream at the end and warm it up briefly, this gives a creamy taste. Mettwurst sausages are also suitable as an additional insert.
