Mozzarella and Salmon Sandwiches

Crispy toast sandwiches for breakfast.

Ingredients

  • Toast bread – 2 slices
  • Mozzarella – 50 g
  • Smoked salmon – 4-6 slices
  • Fresh basil – 3-4 leaves

Directions

  1. Cut the mozzarella into thin slices beforehand.
  2. Fry the toasted bread over medium heat in a dry skillet. until caramel color. First, fry for 5 minutes on one side, and then another 4 on the other. Attention! “Medium fire” is a loose concept … The toast should be lightly browned and crispy (as in the photo).

  3. On the hot toast, immediately put the mozzarella (so that it is slightly melted).
  4. Cut the fillet of lightly salted or smoked salmon into thin slices (you can take ready-made ones).
  5. Place fish on cooled mozzarella sandwiches.
  6. Chop the basil.
  7. Garnish the mozzarella and salmon sandwiches with herbs and cut diagonally.
