Ingredients

  • 200 g mozzarella
  • 8 slices toast bread, stale bread or white bread in a box
  • Flour, for turning
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • salt
  • 4 tablespoon olive oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Cut the mozzarella into slices the size of the bread slices. Cover one piece of bread with a slice of mozzarella and cover with a second piece of bread. Dip the edges of the bread briefly in cold water and press together well. Turn the pieces of bread in flour.
  2. Whisk eggs with milk and salt. Turn the mozzarella bread in it. Let the oil get hot in a pan. Fry the loaves on both sides until they are nicely browned. Serve hot.
