Mulled Wine Non-alcoholic

On a cold winter evening, when you are preparing mulled wine for yourself and your friends, do not leave children and those who do not drink alcohol without this fragrant warming drink. The recipe for non-alcoholic mulled wine made from grape juice is useful for a noisy party and for quiet family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • Grape juice from dark grape varieties – 500 ml
  • Water – 100 ml
  • Orange (orange peel) – 0.5 pcs.
  • Lemon (lemon zest) – 1 pc.
  • Apple – 0.5 pcs.
  • Raisins – 2 tbsp
  • Cinnamon – 1 stick or 0.5 teaspoon ground
  • Carnation – 5-6 buds
  • Cardamom – 4 grains or 1/3 teaspoon ground
  • Ground ginger – 0.5 teaspoon.

Directions

  1. Pour grape juice (from dark grape varieties) into a heavy-bottomed saucepan and add water.
  2. Add all the spices to the saucepan (you can change them to your liking).
  3. Remove the zest from the orange and lemon with a special knife or with a fine grater.
  4. Peel half of the apple and cut it into slices.
  5. Add the zest, raisins, and apple to the saucepan.
  6. Heat non-alcoholic mulled wine made from grape juice to almost a boil, remove from heat, and let it brew for 10-15 minutes.
  7. Strain the drink through a sieve.
  8. Serve hot non-alcoholic mulled wine in tall glasses, garnished with a citrus wedge and a cocktail tube.
