Ingredients

  • 15 liters red wine, sweeter
  • 3 liters orange juice, freshly squeezed
  • 3 oranges, sliced
  • 1 ½ liters water
  • 0.5 liter ½ rum
  • 3 cans prunes, 500 g each
  • 12 cinnamon stick (s)
  • 0.5 ½ handful clove (s)
  • 1 kg sugar, brown

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients in a large saucepan and let steep for 24 hours.
  2. Then heat to a maximum of 70 degrees and serve hot.
  3. The amount of ingredients is sufficient for approx. 60 cups of mulled wine.
