Instructions

  1. Heat the water, stir in the broth, honey or sugar and mustard and allow to cool. Add vinegar and season with salt and pepper. 1 - 2 pressed garlic cloves in this sauce taste very delicious.
  2. The easiest way is to let the seasoned broth cool down in a 0.75 liter bottle (juice bottles are great). I then fill it up with the balsamic vinegar.
  3. I only add the olive oil and possibly herbs when preparing the salad.
  4. The sauce can be stored in the refrigerator for at least 2 weeks. However, it also tastes lukewarm with rocket!

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
