Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon shrimp (s), dried

  • 2 tablespoon shrimp paste (Nam Prik Gapi)
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 3 tablespoon sugar, brown (or grated palm sugar)
  • 4 chilli pepper (s), Thai (Prik Kie Nuu)
  • 4 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 20 small eggplant (s) (Makua Puang), green, Thai
  • beans (Thai snake beans)
  • beans (Thai wing beans)
  • Corn on the cob
  • Broccoli, Thai

Instructions

  1. Mix the shrimp, garlic, shrimp paste, fish sauce, brown sugar, chilli peppers, lime juice and water in a lightning chopper to form a smooth paste.
  2. Blanch the small eggplants (Makua Puang) in boiling water for 1 minute, let them cool and mix in.
  3. Clean the other vegetables and blanch them in boiling water for 2 minutes each. Other vegetables can also be used to taste.
  4. Arrange everything on a plate and serve.
