Ingredients

  • 5 rolls, stale
  • 0.25 liter ¼ milk
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 40 g butter
  • 1 packet herbs, frozen, mixed
  • 4 egg (s)
  • salt and pepper
  • Fat, for the baking dish

Instructions

  1. Cut the rolls into very small cubes.
  2. Heat the milk for 2 minutes at 600 watts and pour over the bread cubes. Steam the onion cubes in the fat for 2 minutes at 600 watts, add frozen herbs and cook for 2 minutes at 360 watts. Add to the rolls, mix together with the eggs, salt and pepper loosely, pour into a greased baking dish and press firmly. Cover and cook for 9 minutes at 600 watts. Let rest for 3 minutes.

  4. I always take fresh rolls, cut them 2 days in advance and let them dry on a baking sheet.
