Hearty and very tasty nut butter made from walnuts and dates will perfectly replace even a delicious delicacy. Hazelnut spreads perfectly on crispy toast. If you are a supporter of proper nutrition, toast can be replaced with cereal bread.
Cook: 10 minutes Servings: 6
Ingredients
Walnuts – 200 g
Pitted dates – 50 g
Directions
Let’s prepare the products. We use already peeled kernels, so we just rinse them in warm water, placing them in a sieve. Rinse the dates thoroughly and, if necessary, free them from seeds. (We chose dates as a sweetener, but you can use raisins or honey.)
First, put the walnuts in the bowl of a stationary blender. Turn on the device and grind the kernels to the desired consistency (it took us three minutes).
Then add the dates and run the blender again for 2-3 minutes. The walnut and date paste is ready. You should get a homogeneous mass.
Ready nut butter with dates can be put in a regular jar and, covered with a lid, placed in the refrigerator. The paste does not contain any preservatives, so it should not be stored in the refrigerator for long – no more than two days. Better to make a small portion and eat right away.
