Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 250 g mararine
  • 100 g powdered suar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 75 g flour
  • 30 g cocoa powder
  • 250 g cornstarch

For the filling:

  • 1 packet hazelnuts, whole

For decoration:

  • 1 packet couverture

Instructions

  1. Make a simple kneading dough from the dough ingredients and place in the refrigerator for an hour.
  2. Unwrap and cut out even circles (4-5 cm in diameter, works well with shot glasses) and place a hazelnut in the middle of each. Close the dough over the nuts, form balls and bake them at 200 ° C for about 15 minutes.
  3. Then decorate with couverture. If you want to take the trouble, you can of course cover the balls all around with couverture, that`s too much of a mess, so I only dip half of the balls in the chocolate.
