Instructions

  1. Cut the oranges, grapefruit and lime into eighths. Halve the vanilla pod lengthways and unfold. Put together with all other ingredients in a large, sealable glass vessel (at least 2 l volume) and stir well.
  2. Store in a dark and cool place for four weeks, turning occasionally. Then pour through a sieve, fill into bottles and enjoy cool. Makes about 1.5 liters of liqueur.
  3. In Italy it is drunk as a digestif from a shot glass, the local name is Liquore di vino bianco all’arancia. Of course, you can also only use juice oranges and less vanilla, it`s a matter of taste.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
