Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients in a bottle and shake well.
  2. Cool until serving and serve e.g. in waffle cups with chocolate or shot glasses. It also tastes great over vanilla ice cream.
  3. The liqueur is particularly good if it is prepared a day before consumption. The sugar then has time to dissolve well.
  4. Of course, you can drink the liqueur after 1 hour after shaking it well. After a few hours, the rum will settle at the bottom. Then just shake it again.
  5. The alcohol content is approx. 5.3 - 6.0% vol.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
